He is weak and immature which are obvious when he handles the foreign policy. Everyone would agree with me if they followed his prime time show when he was about to meeting with Chinese Hu at APEC summit in Hanoi, Vietnam last year. The other example is from his previous Environment Minister Rona Ambrose. In an UN climate change talk at Nairobi, Ms. Ambrose blasted Liberal Party for the reason why Canada could not stick to Kyoto Protocol. It was inappropriate for using an international conference to conduct a partisan attack. She became a laughing stock in the international community because of this. Stephen Harper has no principle. He is a born-again environmentalist after the poll showed that the most important issue concerns Canadian is Environment. He shuffled his embattled Environment Minister Rona Ambrose to another Minister position. When he was the opposition leader, Stephen Harper apologized to US for the Canadian government’s not supporting for Iraq war. Stephen Harper thought he had the privilege to represent the Canadian to support the illegal war.

I do not like the platform of the conservative part. The party has hideous social agenda. They do not like the idea of gun registry. For me, own gun is not a civil liberty issue, it is a privilege, and it is not a right. The party also wants to promote the stay-at-home mother family. This is the reason why they cut the funding to daycare and give $100 per kid (under 6 years old) to family. Stay-at-home or not should be a personal choice. It is wrong for the government to involve.

The Conservative Party calls it a new government after around one year a half in the power. Come on, it will be mid-term election after the inauguration of the president in US. Mature up and be the boss.更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
