This is a great opportunity to become a key contributor to our continuing growth in the seafood industry. This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills to provide support to and act as a liaison between both external and internal customers. 1-2 years previously Canadian or U.S experience on import & export operation is required.
Duties:
Working with Custom Brokers for Custom Clearance
Working with shipping lines for tracing and delivery
Working with local trucker for local delivery
Food Inspection and shipment follow-up
Sales and purchase orders follow-up
Freight, Customs broker and Warehouse storage rating negotiation
General customer services
Documents preparation for shipment and bank
Billing approval
Required Skills:
College graduate in logistics, international trade, business accounting, and business administration.
Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts across Canada, US & China in both perfect Mandarin (national language of China) & English (oral and written communication)
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Dedicated, self motivated, independent, energetic worker and pay attentions to details
Ability to work well under pressure in close team environment
Essential software programs: MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Salary: Can $ 30,000 annually
Annual salary review according to performance towards to senior position
Probation time is 3-6 months
Benefits: Full dental, medical and insurance coverage
2 weeks vacations annually as a start
