a University graduate with PMAC/CPIM certification or active enrolment towards certification, and experience in a JD Edwards Materials Management role. ( must have)

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager you would be responsible for procurement of a wide range of finished products, components and supplies.

Specific duties and responsibilities include analyses of pertinent computer-produced data to determine material requirements; placing inter-company and vendor orders, liaison with suppliers to resolve problems of delivery, quality, billing and shipment discrepancies, maintaining Item Master and Purchase Order files, developing vendor pricing files and standard costs in conjunction with Cost Accounting, reviewing backorders and taking necessary action, review of open orders and inventory levels, contacting vendors to return excess materials.
